"Word Machine" - Game for Secondary Learners

Cómo jugar:
- Individualmente, en parejas o grupos pequeños.
- El profesor da una letra y el/los alumno/s tienen que buscar una palabra que empiece por dicha letra en 10 segundos. A continuación, el profesor dará otra letra y los alumnos tienen que buscar una palabra que empiece por la primera letra dada y que incluya la segunda (en cualquier posición excepto en la primera) en 20 segundos; y, por último, el profesor dará una tercera letra y los alumnos tendrán que buscar una palabra que empiece por la primera letra dada e incluya las otras dos (en cualquier posición excepto en la primera) en 30 segundos.
- Gana el alumno, pareja o grupo que más puntos consiga (podéis usar la puntuación de las letras de Scrabble como guía o determinarla en conjunto).
- En caso de empate, ganará el alumno que haya escrito la palabra más larga.

How to play:

- Individually, in pairs or small groups.

- The teacher gives a letter and students have to find a word that begins with that letter in 10 seconds. Then the teacher will give students another letter and they'll have to find a word that begins with the first letter given and including the second (in any position except the first) in 20 seconds, and finally, the teacher will give a third letter and the students will have to find a word that begins with the first letter given and include the other two (in any position except the first) in 30 seconds.

- The winner is who gets more points (you can use the scoring Scrabble letters as a guide or determine together).

- In case of tie, the winner will be the one who wrote the longest word.
